Annyeong! Goodness it's been almost a month since my last post.Hmmm. Blogging with my iPod now so I have no idea what the font is gna look like and how the post is gna be like.Had reunion dinner with my Ahma's side 2 days ago and ima be having reunion dinner with relatives from my dad's side today! I LOVE MY AWESOME GROUP SHACKLETON AND MY TEAM JAMES CAIRD SO MUCH.
WE WERE THE FIRST EVER 7-DAYS GROUP. WE MADE HISTORY YO WOOHOO :D

Good memories for life, good friends indeed. We gotta make our friendship last ^^

So.. We pee-ed in the sea, shit in the wild, did outdoor cooking, carried all our heavy stuff around while walking for hours, slept in tents without sleeping bags, DIDN'T SHOWER FOR 5 DAYS, sailed for hours, rowed for hours, survived the night with just flashlights to help us see in the dark, slept on a cutter, pushed ourselves beyond limits, did what we thought was impossible and much much more.
Not forgetting our final night, all those nonsense and talks and crazy fun we had. Maaaan.
Really.. This life changing experience will stay with me forever :')

Super worried about that.. The thought of "competing" with students taking Chinese from the whole of Singapore makes me feel tiny. China Scholars are gonna make the annoying bell curve even scarier. AHH :( Just gotta pray and do whatever i can do up my Chinese standard which is pretty impossible with 4 days..

Sometimes, well most of the time i read too much into things. And i have to get rid of that habit because it screws things up.

VERY GOODMORNING PEEPS! Slept early last night and up early this morning @6.39 which is early enough for if it's a school day :)
Shopped with mummy yesterday and we spent 2hrs in one shop hahahaha. Mad or mad. Bought 6 clothing items and mum bought 1 i think.. Could have shopped more but mum had to go pick up sister up. Sigh we need to do this again man, I <3 SHOPPING xDD But it's such an expensive hobby, $$ flyaway~

SNSD ON MUSIC BANK LAST NIGHT WAS A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Taeyeon's hair was so damn super gorgeous and chic ohmygosh and our maknae Seohyun was so sexy and aggresive ahhhh i think i'm becoming gay-er each day coz of those 9 angels. **Faints* Sadly they didn't win but next week, THE BOYS WILL PWN. So the nerve-wrecking season is over, for now.
Results are back.
I passed 4 subjects out of the 7 which is a pretty big achievement for me comparing it to my pathetic 2 passes for Mid Years and with the time i had after i "woke up".
I "woke up" like one month or so before EOYs after a talk with Mr Liong, when i finally realised what a plight i was in and how close was i to retaining. Regrets blablabla and the determination to work hard.
I started putting more effort and for the first time in who knows how long i studied for a paper. Like hardcore studying. And my efforts have paid of, that i'm sure. But of course with such little time and such lousy grades i couldn't pass with flying colours and improve that much.
You know that fear of retaining, you'll never understand until you go through it.
I should seriously thank the school for removing the auto-promotion if not i'll perhaps never have woken up until Prelims in Sec 4 which will be really really too late.

Your dreams cannot come true unless you wake up.

I have 1 year and a few months to make up for all the time i've wasted slacking for 3 years. I'm ready.

Dream school, here i come~

God is awesome, God is great!
Spent the past 2 days with the cell people and God, which was pretty wonderful, really. :)
Church felt different yesterday. For many of the previous times i'm in church, i alwaysssss end up tearing at every church song that plays, alwaysssss end up tearing when someone prays for me and sometimesssss, i'm literally crying. But yesterday, i felt.. Good. I felt like praising the Lord and i felt his warmth. I definitely felt God's love for me, that he's been answering to my prayers. There was this nicehappyspecial feeling throughout. And i paid more attention than usual to the preaching. ^^ All i know is that i have more faith than what i had, and i'm gonna put that faith into good use. What i learnt from yesterday's sermon: Faith ♥ It's not about how much you have, but how much you use.
And yes, everyday is worth thanking God for. ;)

Watched Zhonghua B Girls basketball team played several matches @Expo just now!! :D
The team feeling is one the of best feelings ever. Even though i wasn't part of the team but watching them encourage each other on and all was so.. Nice. Heart-warming, is that the right word? Haha. Reminded me so much of my gymnastics team. Shouting "jiayou" with the bballers was like.. Awesome ^^ And the high fives after they won a match. (Y) Enjoyed myself :) ALL OF THEM WERE GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAT! :D They got 2nd place woohoo! Wish i could dribble like them~

My love for basketball is back XDD

This year's passing too quickly.. 4 more months till 2012, which is 16 more weeks. WHAT THE. MIND BLOWING OMG. Okay i'm currently unable to accept that fact :/ @@

It's been.. 10 mins since i realised that horrible fact but i'm still not able to snap into it and realise that time's whizzing like a insane ninja. Re-calculated like a gazillion times to make sure i wasn't scaring myself. BUTTTT SERIOSULYYYYYY, 16 WEEKS?! WHAT THE ASKJFHSKFHSDJFHDSKJBSG.

Anywho, Teachers' Day audition and debate finals are in 2 days and i've been snacking on Wang Wang like crazy. Gonna stop myself from eating a single Wang Wang tomorrow though! If not Tuesday will be a deesasterrrrrr.

OMGHHKP TIME IS PASSING SOO QUICKLY.

Didn't I just caught the fireworks a while ago..? And i'm gonna do it again in 2 days time. Crazy or crazy.

TIME'S FLYING LIKE A NINJA.

Especially in 2011. 7 weeks to EOY!? Are you kidding me, didn't Mid Years just happened? 1 month+ to my birthday?! Gosh. Madness, totally.

I can still remember vividly everything that took place last year, and now i'm gonna experience it once again.

It's like WOAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Anywho, lived through the week feeling lost. As quoted from Elaine, "Something's eating me inside. I'm losing myself. To what? I don't know either....."

Yep that's probably the best sentence to describe what i've been feeling for days.

It's as if i've forgotten who i'm supposed to be, unsure of what i'm after, having second thoughts about what makes me happy and who makes me happy. In short, life's meaningless.

That's kinda a strong word but i don't know how else to explain this emptiness inside of me.

The best thing to now is of course confide in God.. Which i've been saying i want to do for days but haven't do so. Urgh :/ After this blog post, yes i'm going to do it!

And hopefully God will fill this emptiness inside of me.

Mmhmm. That's that i guess. Don't wanna go on and on rambling about The Emptiness. Haha.

Ohoh, trip to the Singapore River was awesome yesterday! Was in Group 3 along with Tasmin, YingShun, Elston, TeRong, Sheena, ZiHui and others :D We won best picture and best group muahaha (Y) :D

Had KFC and played basketball and pool afterwards then dinner-ed at NEX. :)

That was my Saturday :DD Have been having wonderful weekends recently and i love it ♥ :)

I am, as a whole :) Excluding all those trivial nonsense that are inevitable. The thing that determines my happiness the most now is that the relationship between me and the veryveryvery important people in my life. Which includes God of course. So if i'm unhappy moody feeling crappy whatsoever or if i say that things aren't okay, it probably means that something is wrong with my relationship with one of the veryveryvery important people. Which hopefully will not happen. Mmhmm. About love.. Seriously, 我看开了。Love as in boy-girl relationship. At this point of time that's not the most important i guess. Of course it'll be wonderful if that goes smoothly as well, but if it doesn't, ah well. Not worth it to cry and feel like crap because of that. Hmmm. I've typed quite a paragraph, haha, finally some inspiration.

Secondly, i really don't know how to describe everything that's taking place now. It's like a rollercoaster, as usual. Starting to not give a damn about the little nonsense in life. For example, interclass badminton tournament. Have had enough of competitiveness poo for the past 2 years. That's why i decided to just go out and have fun and laugh and just play. Had the most relaxed match ever. After watching the match between Farizah and I, Miss Ng even commented that that was the friendliest match she had ever watched. Haha :) Enjoyed myself indeed.

Don't really have anything in mind to blog about. Perhaps there are one or two things to be said but.. This is not the right place.

I had the last Chinese Oral Examination in my entire life yesterday. Well hopefully. And no i didn't do my best, no i don't think i'll get a distinction. Sigh :/ Hanlyn why did you blank out and only think of what to say after the oral was over?! Grr, disappointed in myself, like really. 8 years of doing Chinese Oral and this is what i achieved. Hais. I want a distinction so badly :(( I need it for my A, if not byebye Higher Chinese :(

ANYWHO. Had a surprise party for Shiying at her house last night ^^ Thankyou Aloysius, Darren, Audrey and Keandra for everything!! NYBC yesterday was great! :DD An awesome event with super awesome company! ^^ Got sabo-ed on stage to sing so ZHSS could get to promote our products on stage. Epic (Y) In the end, the team Be Happy Forever received a Bronze award and the team Fabric Tree received a Silver award + Most innovative and creative idea award. The main reason why Fabric Tree did not receive a Gold award was because not all their products were environmentally friendly. Sigh. But nonetheless G-O-O-D-J-O-B GOODJOB GOODJOB to both teams and to all the supporters! :) Sucha high and mad event wahaha. YanYeng and I were totally entertaining ourselves by getting KangTeng to record us speaking in Korean, hahaha. Cracked up like crazy eggs XDD Dinner was super delicious beef noodles that reminded me of Pho. :))

OMGHHKP UNIVERSAL STUDIOS YESTERDAY WAS A BLAST!!!

Set Galactica Battlestar13 times muahaha. (Y) TTM.

The indoor mummy rollercoaster was cool too :) I was freaking out cos of the mummies and insects and whatever instead of the rollercoaster ahaha.

Took pictures with WOODY WOODPECKER. OHMYGOSH I LOVE HIM ^^ He was one of my childhood favourites man. Sadly his shows aren't airing anymore :( Oh and took pictures with his girlfriend too! :))

Riding Galactica Battlestar at night is the best, boomz. And after the supposingly last ride of the day, the awesome people there allowed us to have another go. Everyone was super high, shouting encore and cheering like mad. I think that was the only ride that everyone was smiling and laughing and no one was scared at all. Hahahaha :D

The mummy ride was even scarier at night, especially cos my cousin and i decided to sit separately. I was screaming like an idiot. Awesome awesome.

After the ride this mummy mascot came towards me and wanted to grab my face or something. I don't know what he was trying to do omg, trying to scare me i guess. Madness.

Had FUN FUN FUN FUN! Wanna go again with school people one day woohoo! ;DD

I'M BACK FROM CAMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

It was simply awesome.

3E1 is the mostmostmost enthusiastic and united class EVER.

We managed to learn the dance steps to Desi Girls in such a short time, and come up with so many cheers. We cooked food that not only looked good but tasted good in outdoor cooking and we built a raft that could held the most people compared to all the other classes. One for all, all for one. I really felt that. I don't know how to describe how much i feel for this class. :')

I know there're people who are prejudiced towards our class.. Just cos, of academics? Or, just cos we do art, POA and DnT? I don't like that mindset at all. Art, POA and DnT require as much brains and brawn as any other subject, they may even require more time. If we can do well in those subjects and score our As, that's good, right? They are still subjects, subjects that not everyone can excel in. It's not as easy as it seems, it is as hard to get A as any other subject out there. And, so what if part of us are in combined science? This combined, double, triple science thing is making people so judgmental. It's not fair to judge one's intelligence just based on sciences. Haiya i don't feel like ranting about this anymore. The whole point is the bias-ness is getting quite overboard.

But whatever, we're just gonna give you one snail clap and move on together, stronger than ever. One day, we'll succeed, you'll see.

Camp is TODAY. Yes, it is in less than 5 hours time.

For once, my camp stuff are neat and organised. Thanks to ziplock bags, the free dengue travel bags and shopping this afternoon. :)

Ohman, my ankle hasn't recovered and my throat's still itchy.

I'm much more worried about my ankle though, it's still swollen :/ I'm wondering whether the physician was of any good.

My heart shattered, tears gathered in my eyes.. I don't know what's wrong and why it turned out like that. I'm so afraid right now. I don't want anything bad to happen :( I won't know how to handle or face it. Please, may things be fine. I can't afford to lose you one more time.

Dear God, if you're using that to bring me back close to you.. It's working. I'm sorry for neglecting you. Please help me through these, strengthen me, enlighten me, guide me. So..

Sports Carnival was pretty much a disaster.

-I stupidly cross lane and lost my medal.

-I sprained my ankle during the 4x100 relay and thus could not take part in the CCA relay.

-I went on to play netball despite the injury and my ankle's pathetic now.

-Conflicts? Mmhmm.

But, brought home 2 medals. 2nd for netball and 3rd for 4x100 relay :) Goodjob luvs. Oh and thankyou SJAB saviors for your help!

Now, i'm stuck in bed with a sprained ankle, muscle aches and fever cough flu. Hopefully i can make it for camp manszc.

Life's been pretty good, i guess.

Although everyone's true colours seem to be revealing in Secondary 3 which may or may not be a good thing..

And so many people around me are getting hurt/emo-ing. :(

Also, some people really need some maturity knocked into them and people really need to learn how to appreciate, be more appreciative. Including myself.

Immaturity, that's the word. The root to all of these nonsense.

Hi kiddos.

It's 3.24am and i should be sleeping. Yet i'm awake writing an argumentative essay on euthanasia. :/

Anyway, today went along pretty well, till the time when i walked home alone onwards. It just hit upon me, this crappy feeling. I just couldn't be happy, like suddenly, i can't seem to find my source of happiness in life anymore. What was i living for? Everything has became so.. Bland. I don't know how to describe this sheet. But seriously, it sucks. I don't wanna feel this way and start affecting the people around me, i don't wanna feel this way and make people feel unimportant, i don't wanna feel this way because i'm not able to get anything done with this nonsense in me. Where is that thingy that will cheer me up no matter what, that thingy that will make me feel comforted, that only thingy i need to live happily? I really don't wish to feel this way because i know that certain things/people are vvvvvvvv important to me and it's just for this little while that i'm feelin so .__. Oh and i sprained my ankle during recess ._.

With a knife, with a little knife..

14 April 2011, my first and last SYF in Secondary School.

The day started off really, really well. I was on cloud nine, and everyone around me was filled with energy, smiling, confident. After months of rehearsals, the day has arrived. With encouragement from our friends and teachers, we were more than ready.

On the bus to ACS, everyone felt excited and nervous at the same time. But we were sure, we would do our best and get at least a Silver.

We did our final line run and then, the show begun.. We went on stage, gave it our all, put on the best-est show out of all the other performances we did. When the curtains closed, we all felt that feeling of emptiness and happiness and the same time. The show was over.

The teachers and coaches told us that we were great and that they were proud of us. It was indeed the best performance we ever did. We bid our trainer goodbye and left ACS with tears of joy.

Unfortunately, the tears of joy, turned into tears of sadness and disappointment.

Bronze, was what we achieved. After months of sweat, tears and effort. After going through so much both physically and mentally, we got a Bronze.

We sat in the rain and cried the hell out. Well, I was so shocked i had no tears. I just sat there in disbelief, tearing. I tried to make myself bawl but my mind was blank. What went wrong? We were so sure we'll get at least a Silver.

I fell sick due to the rain. I woke up in the morning, and it hit me hard. We got a Bronze, a freaking Bronze.. I wished i had accepted the cruel fact the day before. Then i wouldn't be alone at home, not knowing what to do, just feeling down, way down.

Yeah, i know all that sounded dramatic and exaggerated. But it's the truth. WE ALL FELT LIKE SHEET. Our efforts, all gone down the drain.. We knew that it was the process that mattered and blablabla, but we needed some form of recognition. If you studied really hard for a test, and failed it, does the process matter that much? Will you be happy just knowing that you've put in your all? For tests, there will be another one. But for SYF, there was only one chance for the Sec 3s and 4s.

Hais. What went wrong? I really wanna know the answer. What was it that was missing?

I know i should get over this soon, i will, i just need some time.

PS: Thankyou Charlotte, Gekting, Esther, Daniel.L for trying your hardest to drag us out of the rain, and even resorted to just standing there holding umbrellas to shelter us. I think there were others who were present, so THANKYOU and sorry if i didn't mention your name. Wasn't in the right state of mind so i can't recall much >< ALSO, thankyou Krista for wanting to say something but didn't know what to say. And Shiying for your company throughout the entire day.

I cannot explain how this happened.

Same kindergarten and then same primary school for a while then diff secondary schools and we're still talking.

The best thing is, we can not meet up for over a year and it's not awkward at all when we do. Seriously ^^

Had a total gals day out on Sunday. From lunch to the movie Rio to KTV to neoprints to shopping. $$ flew away but who cares! Afterall we do this once every year! Hmmm, we should meet up more often ya? <3 you babe! :))

This week is yet another super tiring week. SYF is in 2 days!? Had a full makeup full costume rehearsal today. It was crappy.. Had costumes mis-function and i zao geng ttm. In front of 1 male teacher and 1 meal trainer. Epic or epic?? .__. And our trainer forced my senior to remember sad events from the past just to get her to say her lines with emotions, causing another major emotional breakdown ._. The pain caused by deep thinking of the past is !@#$% lah. Gosh. And yes the makeup was like layers and layers of cake. Another full dress rehearsal tmr, final 2 full runs. Hopefully we'll make the best-est out of it and it's all out on Thursday! Come on' Choir, and break a leg ELDDS! ;))

OHYA thankyou sweethearts who were there for me yesterday! Iloveyouguysttmlah.

Can't imagine life without y'all. TEEHEE.

Ahhhh i have so much more to blog but i can't cos i'm laughing too much right now. ^^

HEYO.

Yesterday was madness.

As you know, it was April Fools day.

During recess, Joel put salt into people's water bottles and into people's bags. I KENA ALOT OF SALT IN MY BAG AND ALL OVER MY TABLE OMG >:( So, i took revenge and poured salt into his pencil case and bag and whatnots. :) Idk what else Joel was doing man, i think he tied his face with string and wrapped this guy with scotchtape. As for me, aqilah and tasmin, we were busy pasting paper on people's bags. Seeing them walk around with it CRACKS US UP LIKE SIAO. I can just stand there and laugh forever. HEH.

After school during CCA, we watched the video of our rehearsal and was amazed at everyone's expression and movements, good or bad. There's definitely space for improvement. I mean, the potential of our play is WOAHHH, GOLD if we own it. Good job guys, keep up the progress and i'm sure we'll achieve more than a bronze! :))

After CCA, had h2h talk. We narrowed down our lives into 4 different aspects. Friendship, love, family and studies. And then, we started blabbering about each aspect, going deep into details.. Emotional. There's still much more to be said, soonsoon! Babes, we'll be there for each other no matter what happens! <3 you all.

NOW FOR THE FUN PART. BEKAH AND CHARLOTTE TRICKED TASMIN AND I OUT TO THE CORRIDOR AND POURED WATER ON US. THIS MARKS THE BEGINNING OF A MAJOR WATER FIGHT. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

In the end, everyone who were part of it included Bekah, Charlotte, Tasmin, Aqilah, Krista, Aloysius, Bernard, Frederic, QiYu, JiaYing, KangTeng, YuHui, Helmi and some other guys. CRAZY LAHH. We were running around bare footed and our blouses were.. translucent. TSK. Ended it all by dancing to Desi Girls. ^^

I LOVE WATER FIGHTS. WOOHOOOOO.

YEPPP. That was yesterday, a good day indeed. ;)

Hi ma dears.

It has been days since by previous post. Kinda busy ya know, and thus did not bother switching on my laptop. iPodtouch has been there for me :) Haha.

It's like 5hrs to school and i'm not asleep. Well, i was asleep but i woke up suddenly coz, i don't know, my body knows that i need to study for today's SS test? Hmmm.

Life has been on a rollercoaster ride now, but it's mostly revolving around drama, drama as in ELDDS. But yeah, there's the occasional everyday drama kinda thing. ;) The number of people having emotional breakdowns and falling ill in ELDDS is like.. woahhh. Takecare okay peeps, SYF is in 2 weeks! We'll give it our best-est shot, and forget about the award for that little while. We can do it, costumes are already out :D BREAK ALL LIMBS DEARS! :DD

Midyears is in approximately 5 weeks time? O_O

YEAH SEE THE AMOUNT OF WORK PILING UP ON ALL OF US SEC 3s.

Should have treasured Sec2's workload a little more.

Tuesday: CCA till evening and then did science from 8 to 11+ @ Misslee's house.

Today: CCA till evening. Studying at night.

Thursday: Heading to the library with Jinghui.

Friday: CCA + Study ton @ Misslee's house.
